The first reading of the first chapter of the book Pursuing Happiness, edited by Matthew Parfitt and Dawn Skorczewski introduces to different parts of the book of Psalms. I have done my research using different sources to understand more about this antique text. In the following paragraphs I will discuss the structure and the authorship of the five different sections of the book of Psalms. The book of Psalms is one of the largest book in the Bible, it is divided into five sections of divine songs, in over all, this book contains one hundred and fifty chapters.
In The Outliers: The Story of Success, Malcolm Gladwell emphasizes that success is achieved by external forces in which certain individuals are granted particular opportunities and advantages that not everybody is given by destiny. What is the meaning of success? In general, success means to have a goal set in mind, have a plan to accomplish a goal, work hard and achieve it. Commonly, achieving success is a process that requires time, effort, and dedication in order to accomplish it. Success might have different meanings to everyone; therefore there is no right or wrong answer.

Introduction The book of psalms is the source of solace and guidance for many Christians and even non-Christian across the globe. For over generations they have turned to it seeking God's help from either sickness, depression, loss, or even guidance and many more. It is here that they’ve experience “the God who sustains, the God of Royal pedigree and the God of the poor and needy, the God of judgement and the God of healing.” Although we read them communally in our church services or individually there is little concern on their structure or historical background.
Success comes in many forms. It can be the feeling of great pride. It can be a prize or award. It can even be as simple as the achievement of a goal. All of these are the different manifestations of success.
John Calvin is sometimes referred to as one of the greatest Reformation theologians. Calvin studied law before he studied theology. Calvin argues for two types of government in his compendium of theology, "The Institutes of the Christian Religion,” one, government that rules the spiritual, or inward aspect of humanity, the spiritual government, and two, government that rules the external aspects of human life, the secular government. “Man is the subject of two kinds of government, and having sufficiently discussed that which is situated in the soul, or the inner man, and relates to eternal life, we are, in this chapter, to say something of the other kind, which relates to civil justice, and the regulation of the external conduct. “ In Calvin’s mind, no human law could stand on it’s own without God, who has created the world and government in the beginning.

John Calvin is considered one of the most important people in regards to the Protestant Reformation during the early-mid 1500’s. He was a pastor that took his job seriously and wanted to influence people to go beyond conformity and to try to grasp who God truly is, not just who others preached that He is. He encouraged thinking, not conformity. This new ideology, of course, brought about conflict between the widely prevalent Roman Catholicism of that day and Calvin’s personal conviction. Among the countless numbers that Luther has influenced there was one individual a young law student at the University of Orléans in 1530, John Calvin, who is recognized as one of the most if not the most important individual in the Protestant break from the Catholic Church. What events lead to Calvin becoming part of this radical religious movement and what contributions did he add to its theology. Calvin was born on July 10, 1509, in Noyon, France. When he was 14, he was sent to Paris to study Latin.
Success is a noun which comes from the latin root word, successes, meaning, "an advance, succession, happy outcome.” Success can therefore be defined as an accomplishment of a desired end (dictionary.com). Everyone has his or her own interpretation or definition of what they think success is, but in this interpretation, there is always a common goal at the end. That goal is to have a happy and good outcome. Willy Lowman’s definition of success was skewed, and for this, he did not achieve a happy and good outcome like he may have planned.

He was important in the Reformation because he was a spiritual and political leader. He was the person you implemented a religious government by using Protestant principles which resulted in him being the absolute supremacy leader in Geneva, Switzerland in 1555. Luther and Calvin were like a dynamic duo bringing great qualities to their reformation.
Success is found in all goals that are accomplished no matter how small or large that they are. Being successful doesn 't always mean that one must accomplish goals that are hard. To others it could be marrying the person they love. To be happy with that person for the rest of their life is a big success. Being successful at an educational standpoint would be graduating college with a degree in a future career.
