Jesus (the suffering servant) quoted the book of Psalms more than any other book. Calvin and the Puritans felt convicted to sing psalms in public worship and loved doing so. Yet the Puritans called the book of Psalms the book covered with tears because most believers who are in pain open and read this book covering its pages with tears.
