INTRODUCTION: A major manufacturer of high-end winter, fall, and spring clothing is a Canadian corporation known as Canada Goose Holdings. It specializes in producing various types of winter clothing, including coats, parkas, vests, hats, knitwear, and other warm clothing for outdoor activities appropriate for cold weather. Sam Tick, a Canadian immigrant founded the firm in 1957. Originally known as Metro Sportswear, it changed to Snow Goose in 1985 as it began to grow. Later in 1990, the firm decided to go international and changed its name to Canada Goose. Dani Reiss took over as president and CEO of Canada Goose in 2001. He is proud of the company's expansion and commitment to remaining "Made in Canada."
