The Monk, usually monk's are supposed to live religious, hard working lives and follow the rules of their religion. However with this monk he does not do that. Everyone can see he abuses his power given to him by his high ranking in the church to live lavishly and do things he wants. He is even described as "well fed" and dresses really nice in expensive clothe. He does not show the qualities of a monk and just does stuff for the benefit of him.
