Capabilities In the Capability Poster group task, what was your group’s selected Capability? In the Capability Poster group task, our group’s selected Capability was numeracy. Outline why you chose this capability for your group Our group chose this capability because we all excel in mathematics. Numeracy is closely related to mathematics, therefore, we believed we could help other students increase their capability in numeracy. We believed this because of our understanding of mathematics as a subject. What strategies did you use to promote the development of this capability? Outline the strategies you will need to put into place for this goal to be achieved by the suggested time frame. Personal: To accomplish my goal of getting my L’s, I will need to use certain strategies. These strategies that I can use include learning the rules of the road by using practice tests on websites such as RAA. Learning: The strategies I need to use to achieve my learning goal is to start homework straight away and don’t put it off. To do this, I must break my work into little chunks and allocate my work and personal time to stop procrastinating. Future: To do this, the strategies I would use is to continue to work hard at school, this would lead me to achieve the required ATAR for my desired course. To do this, I must study hard and fully understand the work given in class. Academic: Strategies I can use to achieve this goal, is to break the assignment into little tasks. Then do one little task every day until the task is finished. Depending if more tasks are to be completed to finish the assignment increase the number of task to two tasks per day.
