St. David’s South Austin Medical Center (the “Hospital”) has received a letter from John Craven, an attorney representing former Hospital patient Ramona Reeves. Mr. Craven states that the Hospital’s entering into a Settlement Agreement with GEICO Insurance Company after the Hospital’s receipt of Ms. Reeves’ “HIPPA (sic) Revocation/Cancellation of Prior Authorization” constituted a wrongful disclosure of her individually identifiable health information (“PHI”). You have asked us to evaluate whether the provision of billing information and/or entering into the settlement agreement with GEICO violated HIPAA. The answer is no.

Corning, N.Y. (WENY) -- Arbor Housing and Development has officially made an offer to buy the former Northside Blodgett Middle School. They made a $200,000 bid for the vacant Corning middle school. The Corning-Painted Post School Board will vote Wednesday night on the offer. If approved, the public will vote on the sale in the fall. Northside Blodgett has been closed for two years

Stuart Emmons wrote the passage A Plan to Transform Portland Together to inform all Oregonians of his plan of building houses for the 4,ooo homeless people in Portland. Emmons explains in his plan the things he needs, for example like would be the land they need, the research that would have to taken, the funding of the money and the help in construction. Emmons uses the example of 1942 when Portland joined together as a community to build houses for the poor. Knowing that a war was occurring; instead of separating themselves, they joined together and worked together as a community. Emmons wants the same thing now for 2018, he wants to create this safe living space for the homeless who have wandered around Portland for who knows how long.
On the morning of April 10, 2017, just before 10:30am, a school in San Bernardino, California was shot up by a lone gunman. He shot his wife, who was a special education teacher at the elementary school, which killed her. He also shot 2 children, killing one and wounding another. This is the second shooting in San Bernardino in the past 3 years. The first one was back in December 2015, which was a terrorist attack at the Ireland Regional Center, with approximately ;16 deaths.

Per Reporter: Zachary was adopted by Michael and Debra. Zachary mentioned that he experienced verbal abuse in the home from both Debra and Michael. Debra constantly tells Zachary that he'll never be her little boy. Michael is an alcoholic; he likes to drink during the evening. Introduction Michael Brown was an 18 year old African American man who was a suspect in a strong- arm robbery in Ferguson, Missouri. He was shot and killed on August 9th, 2014, by a man named Darren Wilson, a police officer with the local Ferguson, Missouri Police Department. The incident took place just a few miles from a convenience warehouse, where Darren had received a call pertaining to the actions of Michael Brown. Brown, the suspect, was as well accompanied by his friend Dorian Johnson at the time of the fatal incident who was 22 years old.
Introduction As the world’s population continues to migrate and live in urban areas, planners, engineers, and politicians have an important role to ensure that they are livable and sustainable. But what defines an urban area and what makes it so attractive? In my opinion, urban areas are places that consist of a variety of land uses and buildings, where services and amenities are easily accessible to the general public, and includes an established multimodal transportation network. Also, it should be a place where people can play, learn, work, and grow in a safe and collaborative manner.

All the new inventions impacted the world drastically and lead to an increase in the work force. Men received more money than women and put hard work in as they spent late nights to improve their inventions so they could earn more money for their families. There were also new ways of transportation that moved people from place to place that changed the world as well. From all the new inventions and transportations that were invented or discovered, it revolutionized the world.
