I, Tiffany Yinger, am a Foster Care Case Manager at Caritas Family Solutions in East Alton. I am the worker for Kiyanna Harris, date of birth 08/16/2017. I am writing to inform you that Kiyanna Harris, is in DCFS custody at this time. She is currently residing with her paternal grandmother, Michelle Harris.

Presenting Problem: Olivia reports of feeling down, depressed and anxious at times get panic, difficulty sleeping, crying spells and hopeless, helpless feelings and suicidal thoughts. We discussed her thought process in this situation and what a safer alternative could have been. She has not heard back from the referral she recieved from her PCP in regards to the lump in her breast. Marybell also got to see her son this weekend and found out that he was promoted to a specialist, which she is extrememly proud of. Marybell said that she could see that her son could see the difference in her and was proud of her for starting to "dig herself out of the hole she had put herself in" which made her feel good about herself.
Additionally, as a counselor, it is important to be genuine with whatever feedbacks one presents to the patient and what one believes regarding the situation of the client. Mrs. Perez believes the more authentic and genuine he is with her patients, the more help he will be able to offer the clients. As a counselor, it is important to have a fine and professional interaction with one 's client but boundaries must be maintained. Through this, a counselor is able to demonstrate their focus on helping the patients by showing the client that they understand their problems. It also through such engagements that counselor is able to use the non-judgmental attention that does not require words for illustration in helping the patient.
