This article is mostly showing/ teaching you, the reader, six personal steps of the structure of doing CBASP. Michael D. Anestis, regarding the CBASP, “ Some clients become skilled at this approach quite quickly while, for others, it takes more time.” He also says this sort of treatment involves a significant amount of homework. He not only talks about the specific steps a Psychologist takes to perform this treatment but he also talks about evidence that this treatment does works and it is genuine. The evidence he shows is the sample from the same researcher of my APA article trial, Keller. By reading this three articles I learn that it is true and genuine that CBASP is a treatment for chronic depression. Seeing that 3 different researchers conducted their own trials, similar in a way but at the same time different to prove the same thing, and at the end getting the same answer, proves this treatment validity. By people reading and comparing all three articles they can ensure that the information is research rather than an opinion. Also the fact that each one of the researches gave statistics and other information in their trials, about this issue also makes it believable
