Growing up in South Carolina it was very adventurous. A warm night on October 03 2000 in West Palm Beach, FL Griz was born. I was born in JFK Hospital. But as soon as I born I moved to Dale, SC. All throughout elementary and middle school, I was called Dequan.
I know all of you are chomping at the bit to hear Travels with Wanda stories, so I will share the adventures. October 1, two couples, ¾ retired loaded up a fine Subaru and headed to the Galena, Illinois area to commence the journey, affectionately described as “The Boot.” We got a little thirsty and our knees needed a stretch, so we stopped at Panera in Springfield, Illinois for coffee. Unfortunately, for us, a busload of cheerleaders or a team of girls arrived about 1 minute prior to us and formed a line about 30 strong. That necessitated our moving along to the Starbucks, where they must have been mighty proud of their mini-bagels, judging from the stated price.
It was March 1963 at Mississippi State University. I was going to class early to get in some last minute cramming before the test over chapter 14. Even though my friend Eric Swan and I study all night. Eric was my best friend from high school. Eric and I did everything together, except when he was with his racist friends.
Off and On I, Kevin Sandersons, am not a genius. I simply am determined to succeed in my future, yet my grades and actions in class imply the future Einstein is present, according to my classmates. But that’s not how I visualize myself. I’m 13 years old and I live in Charleston, SC.
During the night of December 24th, 1982 in North Carolina, Jack Wilson, a 16-year old boy, went to the International Gaming Tournament, where he won first place. He felt so proud. He wanted to call his parents who were gone to Hawaii for three weeks to share his happiness. When he arrived at his house he made some hot chocolate and gathered by the cozy fire, looking at his only Christmas present. Though it was small, it was special as it was from his parents.
Ever since I was young, I have always heard someone talking about Marquette. Part of this may be due to the fact that three of my neighbors have gone to Marquette and have absolutely loved it. Adding on to that, I have met even more people that have gone to Marquette that have really liked it and are usually successful in life. I met even more people at the Marquette open house that were from all over the United States and said they went to Marquette and they hope their child will attend Marquette as well. This made me realize that Marquette is truly local, since I know several people that have gone to Marquette that live by me and at the same time it is global, since I have met people around the United States, as well as other countries that
Something challenging I had to face at a very young age was losing my best friend, after losing her I was never really me and I felt like part of me was missing and it was. Carolina Alavazo was my best friend, we were inseparable and when we were together we only created memorable memories. Weeks before Carolina was deported I had noticed she was not the same, she had told me she was sad to see her parents fight and scared all the time but at that time both of us we didn’t know why.
This was becoming intense, and now I was too curious and concerned to stay where I was. I turned back into a feral fox and left my tunic behind, darting out of the doorway, down the staircase, and into the lobby and quietly as I could. Since his mind was on other things, Estocada didn't notice me following him as he made his way out of the door. His face displayed a mixture between anger and disturbance, as he was terrified of whomever he had to speak to. Whomever this was...
Throughout time, many aspects of life change such as schools, jobs, and friends, however one’s feelings remain forever. It has been 10 years since the kaba fungus took over the world and began infecting humans. Numerous doctors around the world call them Kabaneri. When these creatures bite you, you slowly become one of them. This is how I lost my daughter.
Slowly advancing towards my desk, I begin to study the faces of my colleagues; scowling in distaste with the world we live in. The long aisles of desks stretch forever, as i continue along the path towards my desk, the bleak walls slowly in case me in all its melancholic glory. The clock taunts me with its speed, forever at the same pace never changing unlike life. Report after report i file for the police, the stack never ends as the world fell into chaos long ago. Timidly reaching into my desk draw, shuffling my hand around as i search for the last thing i remember before the world i knew crumbled away.
Ragamuffin She could not have been much more than four, this dirty little waif with big blue eyes; eyes that shined brightly as she walked toward our back porch. It was early, barely past sunrise. My parents had walked out into the field’s just moments before. As I sit here, I have tried hard to remember the child’s name, but it escapes me. Of course, I was but a child myself back then and some things are hard to remember from so long ago.
Leorio had put together a rather long mental list of all the things he would have once he graduated from medical school, once all the hard work of studying was behind him and the big bucks started rolling in. Maybe it was classless of him, but if someone were to ask him, Leorio wouldn 't have felt the least bit embarrassed to brag about it -- because fuck it, who cared what other people thought? It was easy to judge when you 'd never had to struggle for every little thing you had, and Leorio going to damn well live it up. Besides the private jet, the swanky bachelor pad and the vacation home in Ochima, Leorio had often dreamed of the day he 'd walk into the nearest lot and drive off in a new car, and not just any car, but his dream car: a pearlescent white Cadillac with an all-leather interior and a wood grain steering wheel.
Pearl, I don’t think I could ever tell you this enough but Pearl you’re incredibly special to me and I wanted to to tell you why that is. Pearl ever since I met you I always thought something was different with you like you weren’t this one person who wanted to talk for a day and never again. It was a couple of days in when we first met and I realized what you were and I was so surprised by this I didn’t know what to say.
My Theme Song Songs can connect with how we feel and our experiences. Music has been a major part of my life ever since I was just a toddler. For me music has helped me express what I am feeling and who I am as a person. My therapy has been music, it has helped me through almost every problem I have faced. With listening to the song lyrics, we can get a true understanding of what the artist is trying to tell us.
Gazing out of my open window as the sun rises, the aurora reminds me of when i felt lost at sea when looking in your eyes, but the calm autumn air fills my empty room, leaving nothing but silence and the thought of you lingering, you are stuck in my head this morning, the chilling air reminds me of you, maybe it's the cold truth that you weren't really there, or it reminded me of when we were wrapped in eachothers arms to keep warm, but you no longer care when i’m shivering, maybe you're just cold hearted now, you always preferred the winter over the summer anyways, maybe that's why you chose her over me, they say go to your happy place when you're feeling down right, but you are my happy place, and you vanished and I cannot go to you anymore,
