The Korean war began on July 25,1950 beginning with the invasion of South Korea by the North. The Northern army and tanks had quickly taken over a majority of the South while at the same time pushing back the South to a corner of the country called Pusan. The plan to invade the South was executed by Kim Il Sung, who sought to use his power over the North to take over the South and eventually have all of Korea be under his command and control. With the Chinese and the Soviets at the aid of the North and the United Nations and United States at the aid of the South full fledged war broke out between North and South Korea along with the countries involved in the battle for control and for the people.
