In Session 1, you were asked to read CCU’s Strategic Objectives. Review the strategic objectives again in light of what we have talked about thus far in the course. Identify two of the strategic objectives that reflect a Biblical, or Christian, Worldview and explain how you see the elements of the worldview exemplified.
“Teach students to trust the Bible, live holy lives and be evangelists.” (Strategic Objectives at Colorado Christian University, n.d.) This is it, isn’t it? This one statement is what it is all about, a biblical worldview. How can we live out our faith without trusting the Bible? We are graced with a biblical perspective with each session, to show the students the lessons learned are taken directly from the Bible and teaches how we are to constantly live life per the standard of the Bible. Progressively, students will be able to live a holy life, through the Holy Spirit, and be the gospel we are proclaiming to the world. More than ever before, the lost need to perceive Jesus in us and proclaim for themselves our lives are full of hope, love, and faith and therefore, is the life they wish to lead.

Remembering the community college textbooks, I was reading, they all seemed to drive around in circles. It was as if the writers themselves didn’t grasp the meaning in the books they’ve written, but that was tolerable for them, since if we as college students didn’t understand them, more reason for us to bow to their ‘wisdom.’ In my time at CCU, seeking truth, I realized select textbooks based themselves in secular knowledge and not in truth. Therefore, understanding them was superfluous. Texts here at CCU, based in the Word of Truth. There is no way to seek the truth without knowing the truth.
