Today in the media celebrities are revealing and expressing themselves in different way to catch people's attention. Some may say that they are just being who they are and we should not judge but younger kids today are looking up to them as role models. In my opinion celebrities should be censored in the way they dress and what they say because they are giving the younger generations wrong and inappropriate ideas. Today people are becoming famous for the wrong reasons like exposing pictures or videos of themselves, and defaming women and talking about drugs. Therefore, celebrities are not good role models.
Celebrities at the top of not being good role models are the Kardashians. For example, after Kim Kardashian's sex tape went viral her and her families were seen all over the media. It was all anybody ever talked about and a lot of adolescents thought it was a trend or the “cool” thing to do. In reality she they were just giving the wrong idea that if you make a sex tape and you get exposed you can get publicity and become famous. For example, the artist D.R.A.M and Lil Yachty in their new song ‘Broccoli’ they talk about how smoking attracts girls. They also talk about how girls are easy and that puts down women and give guys the wrong idea. Also, the artist French Montana in his song ‘Bad B*tch’ he sings about how it is better to be with a “bad chick” who is down to do anything and is looking better by getting surgery. This defames women because it's giving guys ideas to look at looks instead of personality and treat them rude instead of actually caring.
