Centaurs- friends or foes. I have been studying the Greek mythological creatures called centaurs for a long time now. It is important for you to know about them just in case you ever run into centaurs you will now have fair warning on how centaurs act. So today, I will teach you about what centaurs are, stories of them in history, and centaurs in pop culture.

What are centaurs? They are mythological hybrid creatures that have the arms, head, neck, and chest of a human and the body and legs of a horse. They also have pointed ears and sometimes have short noses.
Centaurs are very intelligent. They mastered working with bow and arrows. They also can read the stars and know what the future holds. They are also very loyal and devoted. The behavior of these creatures can be petrifying. These creatures are known for breaking social codes. They first showed up in Greek mythology where they were a part of many stories. One story that is very common about centaurs is the story that didn’t portray the usual traits of centaurs. It is the story about Chiron. Chiron was a wise immortal centaur who tutored many gods. One day, one of his students Hercules came to the cave that Chiron and some other centaurs lived in. They decided to open some wine to drink and the smell of the wine caused unwanted centaurs to come to the cave. The unwanted centaurs attacked them to get the wine, to stop the centaurs Hercules pulled out his bow and his poisoned arrows and began to shoot them at all the unwanted centaurs. While Hercules was shooting the unwanted centaurs with his poison arrows he mistakenly hit Chiron. The poison from the arrow caused Chiron excruciating pain. Chiron then decided that he would give his life up so someone else would have freedom. Since he was such a great centaur Zeus decided to put him with the
