The middle ages has had a lot of changs but it also has a lot of things that continued to be the same. Religiously, the catholic church was still very powerful and it still is the most powerful religion. Economically, it has changed. Trade has became more relevant and used. Politically, it has changed, the power of the king was limited which made the king not the most powerful. Religiously, the time period represented more continuity as the catholic church remained the center power of religion. People were concerned about heaven and hell. People cared about it because of wars. Persecution for those who would not become Christian, church could punish the people who are not the same region, even the king must follow.
