I reaped the rewards of this as much as possible in middle school as I made many new friends by participating in sports and ASB. I remember as my eighth grade year came to a conclusion about how excited I was to continue playing sports and as a result, make new friends throughout my upcoming four years of high school. This all came to a drastic halt when my parents no longer allowed me to participate in football due to the increased physical competition and subsequent unsafe nature of the high school game, and when I was cut from the freshman basketball team. For the first time in my life, I had found myself unable to participate in the activities that had my brought me happiness and academic motivation. For a while, I lost all motivation to participate in my school and as a result, I didn’t participate in any extracurriculars and lost my perfectionist goal of achieving a 4.0 my freshman year.
I was so excited to begin high school and attend the same school my father and uncles had attended. But, the beginning of my high school career was very difficult and challenging for me. In the beginning of my freshman year, I had a very hard time finding a group of friends that I could trust. The idea of popularity drowned me when I entered high school and I began to loose myself. I had a hard time focusing on my studies and this caused my grades to plummet.
This text proves to the reader that the change in school led to friendships being formed, and the exploration of new opportunities which can help Junior grow as a person, instead of never
Highschool is not about finding who you are, its about creating who you are. Your future doesn’t lie ahead of you, it lies inside of you, when kufe becomes a roller coaster, climb into the front seat, put your hands up, and enjoy the ride. Join a club, participate in a sport. If we don’t have what youre interested in, create it. Highschool is, and will always be what you make it out to be.
As a freshman the transition was some what difficult for me. These are somethings I think would be good to new for the middle schoolers that are tranistioning into highschool. First keep organized. I can 't stress that enough because if you don 't you will lose things really easy and become a real mess. Another thing is a personal opinion but I don 't think that going to your locker every passing period is a good idea.
Students feel like high school is the best part of their lives while they 're in it. The thing is nothing will ever be permanent in our lives we will learn, graduate and find work only will we know that nothing is slowing down. The movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year portrayed a great example about how high school is just a part of life and that everyone who experiences it learns almost half of what is ahead of them. The movie is about friends and how they balance their time. It is about how they make their choices and learn about the effects of it.
“Baby, I promise I’ll be back soon. There’s no need to cry, I’ll be back before you know it.” The worst phrases that I was accustomed to hearing almost every year. Being with your mother is a place that will forever be a child 's favorite sanctuary, however, I never experienced that sacred temple. Because of this missing piece in my life, transitioning has never been easier.
I use to be cautious and reckless until I promoted to middle school. I remember that I was a very nice student, but I've changed I'm more of a person that doesn't really care that much about people like I did back then. Back then I was a hard working student, but i got older and became much more lazier than I was back then. I’ve changed in many ways but only mentally not physically. As can be seen I’ve changed over all when i entered middle school.
An essay explaining how I have changed in high school. One of the things that I know about me that has changed is the way I act with others. Now I talk more in high school, and play around more with my friends. I also pay more attention now in school and what the teachers tell e to do like homework. And also I get higher grades on test, assignments, and in report cards.
Change means to become altered or different. People deal with change differently than others because they usually deny any change that might happen or they cannot accept the change. It also depends on what or who is changing because it can either be good or bad depending on the situation. Change is especially hard in high school and college because many things will be different. For example you might have new friends and personally you might have changed from what you learned in high school.
Switching schools can be difficult. Especially when you don’t really know anyone except some of people that went to the same elementary school as you. The scariest school move so far was from elementary school to middle school. It was scary because at the time all my friendships were on the rocks and that killed me. My friends were all I had to look forward to.
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
In high school, many things tend to change right before your very eyes and it isn't slow and subtle, oh no it happens about as fast as the flash can run from one side of a football field to the other. Now many of these change aren't too bad or as bad as what is about to come. You end up with 6 classes instead of 3, puberty hits you or stops faster than you can say it, you have different teachers, Longer passing periods which isn't bad, and finally you get friends form different grades. There are many more changes to come but these I can name as just a freshman.
During your high school years you have to grow up dramatically and make important decisions. Unlike middle school, high school students get far more homework and classwork. Students should never
The past four years of my life hold both my highest of highs and my lowest of lows. High school can be a very awkward time period in a person’s life. Four years ago, I made the intimidating switch from St. Mary’s School to Algoma High School. There were certain aspects of high school which made me nervous, but academics was not one of them. I learned how to be a responsible student in my earlier years, and school had always come relatively easy to me.
