To understand a person fully, you must first know that person and the reasoning behind that person’s mindset, choices, and lifestyle. While growing up, I lived with my dad and two sisters in a small town—about 1,200 people to the max and around 130 in the high school. As we grew up, my dad taught us our morals: “don’t lie," "don’t cheat," "don’t steal," "always act like a lady in public," and "be respectful to everyone around you.” After a good couple of times of not paying attention to these rules, and after being faced with the wrath of my dad’s temper, I straightened up and actually started listening to his words. Eventually, I took them up on my own and started following them because I wanted to, not because he kept telling me to.
People have tried and failed to stay fit and healthy due to their desk-bound lifestyle and hunger for cheap, fast, and unhealthy food. The current system we have in high school students ' lunch is in need of revision. I plan to clear up the problems we currently face, and the ways we can mend it. The problems we have are the funds for foods, the actual food itself, and the low budget kitchens, The first issue is the money the schools are given to provide healthy lunches for students.

Community refers to people located in a particular location or a particular geographical area. A community has specific and similar interests that affect their welfare. Therefore, in community engagement, members of society are main stakeholders.
Optimal physical wellness is developed through the combination of beneficial physical activity/exercise and healthy eating habits. Elemental components of physical wellness include building muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular strength and endurance and flexibility. The habitual physical activity is vital for enhancing overall health. Lifestyle behaviors adopted in childhood tend to track into adulthood, and more active children tend to be more active as adults than their sedentary peers, thus aiding in the prevention of diseases such as hypertension, obesity, cardiovascular and other health problems.
My healthy schools initiatives plan has some strengths and some weakness but overall I think it is necessary and will be successful. My plan outlines ways for schools to implement a focus on daily physical activity. It revolves around education, awareness and providing opportunities to incorporate physical activity as part of a daily routine or culture in school, at home and in the community. Teachers need to be involved, educated and more aware. I believe that many teachers are not educated enough on daily physical activity beyond the simple idea that it’s good for you.
