Have you ever felt like you are not good or smart enough? That is what this 5th grader Ally Nickerson has to go through everyday. Read this to see how she deals with it.In fish in a tree by Lynda mullaly hunt, a girl named ally has something called dyslexia and is bullied for it. She thinks that it is something to be embarrassed by but once her teacher mr.daniels helps her overcome it and she is no longer insecure about it. She learns to love reading and is really smart. She goes through some bad stuff and some good stuff and at one point gets mad at mr.daniels and does not want to learn but she gets through it. never give up and don't let words get to you Ally Nickerson has dyslexia. She always gets bullied for it. She always thinks of herself as dumb, and stupid and has low self esteem. Only because she can't read. Dont start sentences with andAnd although she is naive and even sometimes her feelings can be soft. The two girls, Jessica and Shay, bully her every day. She is really smart in other categories like math and science but it is just reading. When she reads, in her mind, it looks as if all the words are moving and dancing, so it makes her embarrassed. Jessica and Shay come to the restaurant that her mom works at and they invite her to sit with them but they are being passive aggressive and making fun of her and her mom does nothing about it because she was not around when they were saying those things. …show more content…

The other kids like Jesseca don't know about it. When Mr Daniels is out he gives the sub a note to tell Ally privately. But he did not specifically say that it was meant to be private. So The sub said it out loud and the whole class knew that Ally was getting easier work. Ally felt really embarrassed and was very upset with the sub and
