I was keenly aware that my attraction to each of them was for different reasons. I didn't think these two men could be any more different from each other and yet somehow I was completely captivated by the both of them.
We spent the rest of the night drinking, dancing, talking and laughing. Charlie and I danced on a few of the more upbeat songs and David, and I danced when they slowed it down.
Anyone looking at us would have thought we were old friends. No one would have ever guessed that we were three strangers who had met just a few hours ago.
We were having such a great time; we stayed until closing. We were all pretty well drunk by the end of the night.
We made our way outside, and David got Jerry, his driver. The rain had stopped, and the …show more content…

“I know it’s not necessary Annalisa. I’m doing it because I want to. Please get in the car.”
Who was I to argue with that, he had spoken, and I got in the car. I added manly man taking control, to the list of things I liked about David.
Charlie and I sat in the car talking, waiting for David to return. Charlie was making me laugh again. He told me a story about an incident he recently had at the airport. He was so animated and funny in the way he told the story. We were cracking up when David finally returned to the car.

David gently put my face in his hands and kissed my cheek. He pulled back and said, “Goodnight Annalisa.”
He turned, making his way back to the car. I stood there for a minute dumbfounded. They hadn’t pulled away yet, and I realized they were waiting for me to get inside the house. I dug my keys out of my purse; went inside and turned on the lights.
I leaned against the door dumbfounded and overjoyed - what the hell just happened? I was excited and confused. How was it possible that not one, but two different men had swept me off my feet tonight? I felt this very physical connection to David. He was serious, all man and had that I’m going to protect you way about him. Charlie was something entirely different. He was a ray of sunshine. He warmed my heart.
I had had too much to drink and reasoned that I couldn’t even begin to process any of this right now. I went to my room, took off my clothes and crawled into my bed and passed
