Chris Kyle was a U.S Navy Seal that served in the Iraq war as a legendary sniper. By some he is considered a villain because of his profession; however doing charity work helping another veteran cost him his life. Chris Kyle was born on April 8, 1974, in Odessa, Texas. Chris had a lot of experience with the outdoors because he grew up on a ranch. He hunted and competed in a bunch of bronco contest. Later on he went to study agriculture for two years at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, before he left for a job as a ranch hand. Eventually his lifelong interest in the military led him to the Navy in 1999. He then quickly gained admittance to the SEALS, which is a forces elite special operations unit. Chris was selected and trained as a sniper, after a demanding selection process. Over the course of Kyle’s ten year military career, he served four combat deployments to Iraq.
