Christianity and Judaism are strictly monotheistic religions, which means that they only believe in the existence of one all-powerful God. Christians, however, also believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. In Christianity, Jesus is not only the Son of God, but is God Himself. Often in the New Testament, Jesus refers to God as His “father” and actually communicates to Him through prayer as if the two were separate beings. This is a problem because this means there is more than one god in the Christian religion, which very strongly based around the belief in one true God. If God (Jehovah) is the Christian God but so is His Son Jesus Christ, then doesn’t that mean Christians believe in more than one God? This created quite a lot of confusion for
