Humanities essay 2 prompt 2 Christianity and Islam are two big religions around the world. They are so different in beliefs and what's right and wrong. Also there two religious have had major issues between them. You can say their not the best of friends. The founding of these two religious of these two religions is a big difference in these two religious. Islam was founded by Muhammad. He was a merchant. Muhammad claimed to be the greatest and the last prophet of God. Christianity was founded when jesus Christ came and started spreading the word of God. Jesus claimed to be the son of God. In Christianity God there is only one. Who are three eternal people they’re the father, son and the holy spirit. In Christianity it says that God loves because that's god's nature is to love. your relationship with God should be based on love because that's what he wants. Following God is important in ChRISTIANITY because without any respect to god in the relationship the love between you and him doesn't mean anything. On difference about God and Allah is that god loves everyone including sinners. Where allah doesn't love sinners only the ones who obey his rules. God in Christianity is considered the father. Whose relationship with the son is eternal. The means of being saved in both religions is so different in islam they’re many steps to take to be saved. Muslims must have the five pillars of Islam and must pray five times a day. Every time he prays he must kneel to mecca. They must also participate in Ramada which is fasting of foods and drinks and etc during the 9th month in the Islamic year. Also must give money back to the community to people who need the help. With tension comes with many problem. These two religions have always seen each other as a threat to one another. These groups feel as if their rights as a nationality are being violated by one or the other. Rivalries are being seen or just little disagreements are seen as a religious problem when it may not. One issue as well is that when or if a Islam family moves into a christianity neighborhood they feel the need to adapt to their lifestyle to fit in. Which in most cases nobody real does that. Another issue between these two religions is that they feel they both have the need to invite people to join their religion. So they're trying to bring people into one religion by saying things that will convince the person to like their religion. Also in their beliefs is the biggest thing out of everything. In christianity they belief God is the creator of everything the father of everyone. Where in being Muslim they believe the creator is Allah and Allah is not the father to anything he isn't considered a father of anyone. This of course goes against both religions and challenges both of them. To prove each other wrong about one
