It all started in science class, where Percy saw Clarisse, the bully at Camp Half-blood, fighting black birds the size of ravens outside the window. As Percy came up with the perfect excuse which was “ I have to puke.” He was dismissed immediately. As Percy finished helping fight the birds, Clarisse explained that if an Aries child turns 15 you are tested to take a ride on the chariot and bring it back to the temple on sunset, or else you'd be punished, it was an exciting time for Clarisse because it was once a lifetime opportunity to show her father she is worthy to be an Aries member. But the problem was Clarisse’s brothers took the chariot away from her, because they don’t exactly like her.Phobos the minor god of fear appeared and promised Percy he will find his fear and gave them a little hint where they can find the chariot,which was “You will find the chariot across the river, were little wild animals live.” After brainstorming where the chariot might be , Percy and Clarisse worked out that it could be in Staten Island, while they were on the Staten ferry, Deimos came out of the water, looking scary and terrifying,scaring people by looking at them directly. …show more content…

Once they entered the zoo, they found the chariot lying right in front of them, but next to the chariot were Clarisse’s ugly and mean brothers, Deimos and Phobos, they both attacked Percy and Clarisse, looking at them both in the eye, Phobos looked into Percy’s eye showing his fear which was the prophecy when he turned 16.
