Many people go through life changing battles, well here are some of the biggest ones that i’ve read. From Percy Jackson and his wild quests to find his mom, Brian a 13 year old boy facing life or death situations each day in the wild and the Logan family faces racism. So as we go along we can see how they overcome their challenges.
Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon left Percy and his mother Sally on their own, not that he had a choice. But the gods took an oath that they were to not have children. Zeus, Poseidon and Hades all broke that oath. In the beginning of the story Zeus accuses Percy Jackson of stealing his lighting bolt, meaning that Percy Jackson was in danger. The world was in danger. While he’s on the hunt for his mom.( Because the minotaur killed her right in front of his face.) He was determined to save his mom and return the lightning bolt to Zeus. But before Brian left for Canada Brian caught his mother kissing a white blond male that was a huge life changing turn, but little did Brian know a bigger one was about to happen. On the plane to Canada the pilot's arm starts hurting a lot, then his back, his shoulder and then he starts screaming that his stomach hurts. From that moment Brian knew the pilot was having a heart attack. In the book it states.``And now a jolt took him like a hammerblow, so forcefully that he seemed to crush back into the seat, and Brian reached for him, could not understand at first what it was, could not know. And then I knew. Brian knew. The pilot's mouth went rigid, he swore and jerked a short series of slams into the seat, holding his shoulder now. Sore and hissed, "Chest! Oh God, my chest is coming apart!" Brian knew now. The pilot was having a heart attack.” This shows Brian's life changing
