The TV show The Office, portrays classical management. This is because Dunder Mifflin, which is the name of the company” is ran by CEO’s who then manage Michael who is in charge of his employees at their branch. Michael Scott is the Manager and within their branch they have different departments consisting of Finance, Sales team, Warehouse team, customer service, and human resource. In The Office, there is a supervisor-supervisee relationship. Michael supervises his employees and oversees everyone to make sure they are doing their job. A more direct relationship is Michael watching Jim and Dwight to make sure they reach their sale quota’s. This show is full of inappropriate workplace behaviors. Many include pranks that are created by Michael.
