In school it can get pretty rough. There is a bunch of homework, tests, and lots of other things that can stress a student out. What a student needs is to find something that works for them. They need to get organized, so that everything is laid out in front of them. Getting organized, and preparing yourself is a great way to get good grades in school.

Step one is to attend all of the classes. One may think that skipping out on class once or twice is fine, then once or twice becomes all the time. It may be the boring class that no one ever pays attention to, or it may be that class that is really hard that no one understands. Either way, students need to get to class. Being in class and absorbing the material is a great way to understand what is going on. Going to class is a great way to get close with the professors, and by not showing up that will not happen. Some professors give out participation points. A student 's grade can slip when they do not attend class because of lack of participation. Also, students should sit in the front of the class. It may not seem like the most popular thing to do, but by sitting in front you pay attention more to the teacher.

The second step is to get to know the teachers. Every teacher is different, and it is good to know how they grade or how they run their class.
