I believe that Diet Coke is mainly targeting women that are trying to lose weight, I am certainly one of them. Therefore, the demographic segmentation is Gender Segmentation.
According to the article in our textbook, Coke zero mainly targets men, from college boys to soccer dads, who 've become more calorie-conscious with age but are looking for a flavor similar to the regular Coca-Cola. Also according to some test, another reason this product was effective for men, is the fact that the word “diet” was not used. So Coke Zero will be classified as Gender and Age demographic segmentation.
Diet Coke Plus, which is a sweeter drink fortified with vitamins and minerals that are also designed for to consumers who are becoming more health-conscious.
