Collective bargaining refers to the process of negotiation between organizations or employers and employees aimed at establishing working condition and salaries to ensure the fundamental rights and satisfaction of both parties (Dessler, G.,2015). The main terms of agreement regularly include wages, training, working hours, health & insurance, and safety. Collective bargaining is a way to offer a great opportunity to the employees in order to assert their issues with employments, resolve any conflicts and unequal treatment to enhance fairness and productivity, and strengthen stable and beneficial labor relations (Libreri, C., Novkovska, Band et al. 2013). It might come either from working conditions, management regulations or employees’ personalities including unequal treatment, late payment, polluting environment, violation in terms of health and safety, promotion and other disciplinary policies (Libreri, C., Novkovska, Band et al. 2013). These are the main factors that drive to the occurrence of grievance at workplace. Meanwhile, development is an effort concerned with more toward increasing employees’ skills for the future assignments and responsibilities. Each business has its own type of training and development methods to ensure the effectiveness of employees’ abilities and implementation. For example, at level of small organization, they can apply team-building method to orientate individual’s skills and improve group interaction. At level of global organization, they can use Off-the-job training with several techniques such as programmed instruction, Computer-assisted instruction (CAI), Computer-managed instruction (CMI) or Lecture/discussion. Meanwhile, with training and development methods for management, you can choose On-the-job training including several methods: Coaching, Job rotation, Job Instruction Technology, Understudy, and
