Brian Herbert the famous writer once said: “The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice”.

Education is a process that involves the transfer of knowledge, skills and habits from one generation to another over teaching. The major selling point for education is the fact that it helps people with their learning and reasoning process. Not to mention that educated people are health conscious and live longer than other people. Because they engage on healthy habits such as exercising regularly having a balanced diet.

A society which is uneducated cannot reason and think accurately. Beforehand people used to fight mindless wars that resulted in massacres resulting in a lot of losses. By Educating our society we improve our position in society promoting human evolution and technological advancements.

In parallel I was the Captain of the basketball team, taking it from a scale of 20 national teams to the top 3 in Saudi Arabia, obtaining an individual trophy for the best player in the group.

In terms of personal growth, I learned a lot of valuable lessons due to this experience, I learned not to take my education for granted, I learned to cherish my education and to enjoy it to the fullest. I got to learn a lot about myself, my strengths and weaknesses. I have a strong believe that being able to recognize our strengths and weaknesses can help us become better individuals in everything we do. Whether they are good or bad abilities both of them help us achieve our goals and dreams in life helping us acknowledge our negative attitudes or personal areas that have room for improvement.
