I define myself as an entrepreneur. Four years as a Lego retailer has helped me learn how to retail, distribute, and maintain customer loyalty. As I outlined in my application, I buy from international distributers and sell Lego sets and minifigures through various online webstores. Because of my experiences, I am fascinated by entrepreneurship. Finding business opportunities and ways to tackle problems excites me, and my Legos have provided me with the building blocks to my future.
However, I currently cannot fully apply what I have learned in schools and textbooks into my real life experiences. Through all of my sales online, I had only taken my passion and applied it to a very specific business setting. I want to achieve my goals at Kelly in order to succeed in the business world.

However, I must take smaller steps in order to climb the ladder to this ultimate goal. For example, classes on Practical Data Science and Sales Management will allow me to garner the skills necessary to create and manage a company successfully, helping me reach my goal of finishing up a start-up while continuing my education. Also, Indiana University’s proximity to Indianapolis would give me an environment which can help me reach my goal of obtaining internships and meeting new networks. Internships have been missing from my life, and with internships like x, y, and z that Kelly offers these opportunities because of it proximity to Indianapolis, and I would be humbled to obtain x, y, and z internship. I look forward to finding the right business team and synergizing with them to create startup companies at the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization.
