It can be hard to think that college is approaching soon, but nevertheless that is a true statement. A college degree is significant in the outlook of jobs and occupations throughout life. In order to increase earning potential, a college degree is almost always required. Having a degree will also make the exploration of jobs simpler, as well as set yourself apart from other applicants. As for college, I have wanted to attend West Virginia University for as long as I can remember. I have chosen this college because of the campus, the outstanding athletic training program, and for the traditions that West Virginia University has to offer. WVU is not a very expensive school, as a matter of fact the instate tuition is $7,632 and the room and board expenses tally up to approximately $7,750. One of the largest advantages of attending West Virginia University is the being able to spectate the exceptional athletic events and teams. The Mountaineers Maniacs are the most prevalent club on campus. The Maniacs are a student group for all Mountaineer Athletics, also known as the student section, the group patronages Mountaineer Pride. To achieve a bachelor in athletic training, the 3 year program must be completed, which provides challenging academic coursework with clinical experience. This program prepares students by providing services such as injury prevention, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic treatment, in addition to rehabilitation. Throughout the program clinical experiences are obligatory and are available with all the sports teams at WVU, Fairmont State University, in addition to local high schools and medical clinics.
