Communism
Communism was created by a man named Karl Marx who believed in equality. Is communist bad form of government or has human corruption made it seem bad? To start lets first figure out what is communist all about.
Communism is a form of government and was created to “advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.” In other word the government own all aspects of citizen’s life, for example every business first must be approved by the government before they can open. The war started because the U.S wanted to contain the spread of communism.” Most American officials agreed that the best defense against the Soviet threat was a strategy called “containment.” The U.S allowed communism to exist but was not going to let it spread to any other country. The reason why it was called the cold war was because the U.S and the Soviet Union never directly fought, there were other wars that the U.S fought in like the Vietnam war.
There was mainly only two countries’ that where involved in the cold war Russia and the U.S. Within the U.S there was something going on that was called the “Red Scare”. The Red scare was the fear of communist among the American people. This was almost a way of promoting that communist is a bad thing and should be contained before it spread to other countries.
In 1991 the cold ended U.S won because the USSR feel apart. The Soviet Union disintegrated because it had “severe economic problems and growing political ferment in the USSR.” When the war ended the Berlin wall was torn down due to the fact that the Soviet Union was no longer a Communist country.
