Daoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism are all religious systems held at a high value in East Asian culture and their practices tend to be blended together. All of these religions also highly value our earth as living beings, the only difference is that Daoism and Confucianism sees them as deities and Buddhism does not worship the elements of the earth (Fisher p.189,192). Daoism also values great mental and physical discipline like the Buddhist religion; thus they have similar practices to the Buddhist ones that practice Zen. Through meditation they are able to maintain a mental and physical state of health and find some inner peace. Daoism also practices detachment from people and objects so that they can have a clear, realistic mindset.
Three perspectives of bringing peace to society was Confucianism, Daoism, and Legalism. In people’s lives peace in society is very important. People were longing for no violence and expected to be treated well. They wanted to feel comfortable and stable. Because they were searching for peace and order, they wanted rules to be enforced.
Confucianism enforced harmony, between people while legalism enforced strict following of rules. For confucianism was built on the belief that harmony results when people in society accepted their place in their lives. However, Legalism was built on the fact that all humans are more inclined to do the wrong thing instead of the right thing due to the motivation of self-interest. Confucianism is described through the five key relationships: father to son, elder brother to younger brother, husband to wife, elder friend to younger friend, and ruler to subject. But legalism was described

There were three different answers to the problem of disorder in classical China. The Legalist, the Confucian, and the Daoist. The Legalist solution, while not the first, to disorder was through harsh punishment and bountiful reward for breaking or following and upholding laws. The Confucian solution to disorder was that humans society was filled with superior to inferior relationships, and if those superior acted with benevolence, sincerity, and general concern for welfare, than social harmony could be regained. And the Daoist solution was almost counter intuitive to the Confucian solution because of the idea that people should behave spontaneous and individualistic, and natural to human nature.
There are many great religions of the world. Two very popular ones were Confucianism and Daoism. Confucianism and Daoism have many similarities and differences. Some differences are their belief of gods, the goal of each religion, and the fact that Confucianism is more of a political system for society, while Daoism is more of a personal self improvement.
Compare and contrast the roles of Confucianism and Buddhism in both China and Korea until roughly the 7th century Introduction East Asia is the largest emerging economy of the world at present, and this phenomenon can be traced back to its cultural, demographic, political and social traditions and identities. Confucianism also teaches about the necessary principles of governing. In Legalism, the most important principles to governing properly are having clear laws that are firmly imposed and possessing a strong military. Confucius agrees that a military is one of the necessary governing principles. When asked about governing principles he lists three things: sufficient food, an ample military, and trust people have for the governmental powers (Confucius Speaks, 88). However, probably much to the disagreement of Legalists, the military is the first thing Confucius knocks of the list, seeing it as the most unessential of the three (Confucius Speaks, 88).
During the Warring State period of China, there were many philosophers who had different views of the governmental system. Legalism, argued by Han Feizi during the Warring State period of China, originated from the idea that humans must be governed by some strong external governmental power. On the other hand, Confucianism put more importance on living by virtue rather than the law itself. Thus, the view of humans of whether they can be trusted or not to govern themselves can hugely affect the governing style of a country. Even though countries are no longer run by certain philosophical ideas, the diverse views on humans or citizens play crucial roles in deciding the ways to attain an unprejudiced society for everyone, the foundation of law;
Guns don 't kill people, people kill people. One of the biggest problems in the United States is that politicians blame guns for all the problems in the country so they want to ban them, but more gun laws and regulations will not help. Guns have existed since before the American Revolution they will not be going anywhere anytime soon. Though guns are used in many bad confrontations they are also used for good such a the military, hunting, the police force, and even in some countries guns are still used to execute the most dangerous people alive.
