As I read the book 1984 by George Orwell it gave me a great impact on how our government has power to do whatever they want, like in the book how people are being monitored constantly.
Now the novel is mainly about Government power and how they control their people to the figure Big Brother. He is the person they worship and must follow his rules at all times. The proof is in the book we all read and the author states “we are in war with eastasia we have always been war with eastasia.” Now I believe that proved my point because that’s what our main character Winston said when he was getting tortured by O’brien, now how is this connected to our world you may ask? Well it’s simple, we are at war with Iraq and we still are today, just like 1984 they have always been at war.
