Similarities and Differences between the two perspective about Gunpowder plot.
The similarities that I can see in the two of the perspective that I have chosen is that they were both related to religious reasons and those reasons can be track back down to the events in the past reign of the King’s and Queen’s of England since 1500’s. I also think the similarities of the two perspective is that their main motives did not quite go the same as what they want, for religious terrorism Fawkes and his conspiracy they did not get the chance to blow up the Parliament and any of their next plan also that when they think that this plot would lead Catholics to rise up against England , instead it did not go the same as what they think it was supposed to be. On the other hand the plot by government perspective of Gunpowder plot was also not what they think it will be, as for Robert Cecil who wants Catholics to be ban from England, after the Gunpowder plot event was done, James I did not ban catholics in England he just assumed that those who were plotters are fanatic rather than whole community of Catholics and also according to Gunpowder Plot Bonfire Night by Croft, at the confession of Fawkes on 9 of November 1605

The differences that I can say about the two perspective is that if I were going to look at the start where the plot was made or being planned. The perspective that this gunpowder plot was plot by the government in any case will be successful because it is given that James had paranoia of those things before when he is young so plotting the same as how his father were killed is going to be success but might not go as what their main motives. While the plot by terrorism, it can be success or it will fail from the start, because gunpowder was in history is a “notoriously unreliable method” of getting rid of their enemies,but in 1567, the father of James were said to be killed in a house
