Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr's techniques are very different, but similar. They both want the same thing: negro companies. The way they carry out this, though, is different. Malcolm wants to make his own negro company. Furthermore, Martin wants to protest peacefully by banning products from companies that do not hire negroes.
In the end, even though both Malcolm X and Martin Luther King both have a similar goals,they both have diffrent way of achieving them. Malcolm X uses repetition to to bluntly state his purposes and to point out issues. Martin Luther King Uses parallel structure to refute what the clergymen had to say about the actions of the blacks and labeling him an extremist. Yet even though both malcolm X and Martin Luther king did use rhetorical question, they used it to serve different purposes. Malcolm X used it to get the audience thinking on what they should do next and how they did not accomplish anything, while Martin Luther King used it to question the Clergymen's way of thinking and to ask where the white christians were at when blacks were being

Finally, I feel that everything that was done between Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X was a success. It may not have been the greatest success but through these two important leaders there was light shined on the crevices that people were either too afraid to point out or just didn’t know how to quite do so. Through the different techniques brought upon the leaders many people stood up full heartedly behind them. That I feel is what the speeches were all about. Bringing forth the people to solve a problem that had been around for years.
During the 1960’s, Martin Luther King Jr. had the best philosophy compared to his counterpart, Malcolm X. They both have different methods of solving racism and having civil rights for black Americans. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted to solve racism and to have civil rights peacefully and nonviolently. Malcolm X on the other hand, wanted to solve racism and to have civil rights by any means necessary.
From 1954 to 1968 the Civil Rights Movement was happening. During this time period Segregation was a huge problem. People equalized the rights shared between African Americans and whites. For example, whites and african americans had to use separate restrooms, water fountains, and even wait in different waiting rooms. During this time there were two very important people, Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.
Malcolm X believed violence was necessary for protecting yourself. He also wanted African-Americans to have the same rights as whites, but they wanted to maintain separation. King and Malcolm's viewpoints were both coherent. First, Martin Luther had a philosophy that America should be integrated.
Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) and Malcolm X were two important Civil Rights activists who viewed segregation differently. MLK wanted violence-free protests while Malcolm X thought protesters should react “by any means necessary.” Their speeches often butted heads and changed listeners views on the topic of segregation. Each leader was impacted by their background life, Civil Rights goals, and view on lynching. Their childhoods influenced their arguments greatly.
Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were very famous African American people throughouthistory. They fought for what they stood for but in many ways. Martin L. King grew up in a middle-class family and was well educated. While Malcolm X grew up in a different (surrounding conditions) that was very unfriendly with barely any schools. He was the only black child in hisclass.
Martin luther king and Malcolm X were two well known speakers. But there has always been the same question being asked around, whose philosophy is better? Mlk is a supporter of non violence. So is Malcolm X, but his beliefs are a little different than Martin Luther King 's. Malcolm x does not like violence but he does encourage it when the other party starts the disagreement. Mlks believes if the other party has started it you do not fight or hurt them.
To gain my admiration, a civil rights leader should be honest and open about their opinions without causing harm, effective in their ability to inspire others, and able to do what is right even when others doubt them. Even though Malcolm X expressed most these characteristics, I admire the works and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. because he was able to accomplish many things through peaceful protests and motivating words. Dr. King was able to promote equality for all races and showed kindness to everyone. Honesty is one of the characteristics a civil rights leader should have to gain my admiration. Dr. King was very honest about his intentions from the beginning.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X held significantly different opinions about how to advance African-Americans in American society. Malcolm X believed in the use of force to accomplish goals, whereas King supported nonviolent means. The differences between the two leaders can be explained by their differing political views, upbringings, and beliefs. First of all, King believed the best strategy for achieving change was nonviolence.
A lot of the time, people do not know and understand how different life was back in the 1960’s. Black people were treated very terrible and unfair. Everything was segregated from the whites and the blackes, like restaurants, busses, schools and more. Blacks had a very hard time, and thought the way the whites treated them was wrong and things should change. Luckily two black men were strong and brave enough to stand up for the blacks and try to start making a change.
Martin Luther King and Malcolm X were two influential men who served as important figures for the Civil Rights Movement. The two men came from diverse backgrounds and had contrasting views in life about religion and African American’s stance in society. Malcolm X was born in Nebraska and had great amounts of exposure to racism. Martin Luther King was born in an educated family in Atlanta, where he experienced racism, but to a lower extreme than Malcolm X. Although they passed away long time ago, they continue to live on today in a world independent of segregation. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X used opposing principles to achieve equality for blacks; King utilized integration of both races and nonviolence as opposed to Malcolm X who separated the same races and employed non violence so as to achieve the same goal.
During the 1960s Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were both highly regarded activists for the civil rights movement. Through this era African Americans struggled with gaining rights that were taken away from them centuries ago. Humiliation and discrimination of the black population poisoned the United States that preached “justice for all”. African Americans at this time needed leaders who would help them gain civil rights in the country that had broken so many promises. King and X both rose up among black leaders of the era as the most influential and impactful.
