On August 6, 1945, during World War II , a-n American B-29 bomber dropped the world’s first deployed atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion wiped out 90% of the city and immediately killed 80,000 people. Tens of thousands would later die of being irritated . Three days later, a second B-29 dropped another bomb called the a bomb on Nagasaki. They expected it killing an estimated 40,000 people. Emperor Hirohito announced his being irritated country’s unconditional surrender in World War II in a radio address on August 15.Working in collaboration with the United Kingdom and Canada, with their respective projects Tube Alloys and Chalk River Laboratory.
