Harry Truman became the president of the US after the death of Franklin D. Roosevelt on April 8th 1945. When Truman became the president he made Germany surrender during World War II.
But there was still the Japanese who were still there in the World War II, the Japanese believed the Emperor Hirohito also known as Emperor Showa to be their god. There were slogans written down on the walls of Hiroshima saying that "Forget Self! All Out For Your Country!" Hiroshima was the 2nd largest city in Japan after Kyoto that was still undamaged by air attacks and bombings.
Japan was looking for Russia’s help in 1945 before Hiroshima Bombing to end the World War II. President Truman was aware of all this that was happening but nothing changed and chose the military methods to end the war. The bomb killed 200,00 people when it was dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The entire city was destroyed and was not recognizable.
