Romeo and Juliet: Act Two After the ball Romeo decides he cannot go home so he climbs the wall of the Capulet household to go find Juliet. Benvolio and Mercutio enter and call out for Romeo but they get no response from him. Benvolio and Mercutio make fun of Romeo and his love for Rosaline. Romeo hears them them but doesn’t let them know. Juliet suddenly appears in the window above Romeo. Romeo says she is far more beautiful than the moon. Juliet asks why Romeo has to be a Montague who are major enemies of her family. The two tell each other they love each other very much. Then the nurse calls for Juliet. Their last words to each other are that they would like to get married the following day. The nurse call again but Juliet doesn’t answer. Juliet realizes the nurse will come soon.
