Adriana Umana Psych 356 13 December 2015 Final Exam Much of what we know about human behavior has been known thanks to many psychology theories. Some of these theories have been developed by very well known psychologists such as Carl Rogers, B.F Skinner, Bandura, and Raymond Cattell. Although, some theories have changed over time there are others we still apply today. Carl Rogers was a humanistic psychologist. He was non directed, client centered, and person centered.
By exploring the assignments done this semester with corresponding categories, we will explore the impact of each assignment, and the impact they had on my personal life. This can explain why some people may act a way towards something while others act differently. Humans interact with things that have ascribed meaning and those ascribed meaning come from what we have encountered with others in our society (OpenStax). Essentially, the habits we learn when we are young can be carried on later into adulthood and it can shape how we interact with others.

Humanistic School of thought , is the concept of the practitioner viewing the client circumstance through the client eyes and their personal view. In 1898, he began to practice as an ophthalmologist, although he soon replaced this specialty with general medicine, then with neurology, and finally, he opted for psychiatry (in fact, he is considered the first child psychiatrist).
