Marriage happens all around the world millions of times a year. It is common in multiple cultures. Even though many cultures have similar events take place in their wedding, going from one culture’s wedding to another will show you that they also have very different traditions.
However, there are some differences between lifestyles and laws in those two countries. Obviously, the lifestyle in Australia is different from the lifestyle in China. I was born and raised up in South Korea for twenty years, and thus I know Korean culture very well. I also understand American culture as well, because I lived and worked with Americans for four years. I decided to choose this topic, because in my experience, I have noticed a lots of differences between Korean culture and American culture; for example how Korean or American treat older people, how Korean or American act in the gym, and about the differences in foods. I picked those subjects because I have experienced the Koreans and Americans side well enough to understand both and I’m currently in South Korea with military men and women. I have Korean friends and American friends spending time together sometimes, and then I can observes differences and similarities.
The food culture of the United States has its similarities and differences with that of Hispanic countries. For example, breakfast in the U.S. consists of eggs, bacon, toast, and milk or orange juice. Although in Mexico they too eat eggs and toast, a lot of times Mexicans eat tortillas, fruits, or pastries and drink coffee or atole. The time of breakfast also differs. Americans tend to eat early like at 6 while, in Mexico, people eat around 8am.
The Cultural Differences and Similarities Between Hispanic and American Families Hispanic culture is often misunderstood, especially when it comes to families. Hispanic families are not that different from American families. There are many similarities and differences in American and Hispanic families, such as views on secondary education, marriage, the use of a double last name, and the values taught to their children. Eva Longoria said, “My mother gave me one piece of advice that stuck with me. She said don’t forget where you came from.”
There are different style in which American parents treat their children compared to Chinese parents. According to China Daily, American parents like to reward or praise their children. They believe glorification and encouragement can help the children to develop courage and self-confidence. Thus, they prefer compliments or encourage their children, no matter they do well or not. For example, if children do excellent in a test at school, their parents will praise their children by saying, “Good job!”
The second dimension was compared to individualism. This scored high in the United States favor at 91 points compared to China at 20 points. This shows that the American people are more independent than China. The American people have the freedom to say, write and express their own people. The Chinese people are very limited of freedom.

Hispanic and American Food Traditions The type of food that we eat is influenced by the countries and people that were once settled down in the land that we live on. Those from the past generation help influenced the way that we live and the food that we eat. Each region has their very own dishes of food that represent their uniqueness and own touch of their country.
