Clinton and Hawkins identifies psychological issues and spiritual issues through the same lens. Understanding how people act, and why they act the way they act is pivotal. Interestingly, dealing with client’s psychological and spiritual issues stems for the innate from sin. It takes the word of God, and the Holy Spirit to spearhead whatever the client is going through. In a Christian counseling setting I would first address my clients by doing a pre-screening on the way that they think and feel about certain situation that they are dealing with. In addition, this pre-screening will allow me to build a rapport, and help build a relationship of trust. First, looking at the worldview of an individual will assist me with understanding why they are going through the problems. By looking at a person’s worldview will explicitly explain their reason of thinking, and how devise a plan to help them. Another factor will help me is understanding science is not an enemy to Christian counseling. Spirituality and science will help create a concrete foundation (Hawkins & Clinton, 2015). In addition, I would invite the Holy Spirit to lead in every setting. According to Hawkins & Clinton
