There are both similarities and differences between "Master Cat" and "Coyote Steals Fire" such as what happens and how it happens. There are many similarities between the trickster tale "Master Cat" and "Coyote Steals Fire".
They were both going to California from New York. Another similarity is that they both had an accident. They had it at just around the same time. The last thing they had in common was that they both were going a bit crazy and didn 't have enough sleep due to the thought of the hitchhiker.

“Coyote Steals Fire,” are two trickster tales that include several similarity and differences. The two trickster tales “Coyote Steals Fire,” and “Master Cat,” have various similarities. Each trickster tale contained anthropomorphism. Anthropomorphism can be defined as giving human characteristics to gods or animals.
One of the similarities is that Sam finds falcon by climbing a cliff . Sam decided to name the falcon Frightful , who he also raised in captivity. Another similarity is how sam burned the inside of his tree home to hollow it out .Sam remembered how the Indians hollow out their canones by burning the inside of the boat. Also in the book and the movie there are poachers .
For example, both of these texts share the setting of a cold climate. Plus, the men in both stories have an amazing sense of direction and know where they are going without being able to see tracks from those who have come before them. Also, the boy and dog aid the men on their quests. In Powder the father treats the boy as something to protect, but in To Build a Fire the man uses the dog as an "experiment" just to make sure that he himself didn't get cold feet. Furthermore, in Powder the man and boy aid each other and their relationship grows, whereas in To Build a Fire the relationship starts out fine then as the story progresses the man uses the dog instead of caring for him.
In the two stories How stories Came to Earth and Coyote Steals Fire there are many similarities between them. One of the first similarities of the two stories is the main charachters achieved their goals. The Coyote in Coyote Steals Fire had to win a game of dice in order to get the fire, he may have cheted but he got what he needed. In How Stories Came to Earth the spider got all the stories from capturing
The first similarity is they both save lives. In the text it says”I am smart.” “I am arrogant. ””I am lucky. ”I am trying to save our lives.”
A first similarity is the moral. In both Coyote Rides The Sun and The Magic Paintbrush the moral is be careful for what you wish for. The coyote learns he shouldn’t have ridden the sun because it is painful. (on page 16-20) The emperor learns not to wish not to wish for money because he got tricked to be stranded on a deserted island made of money and experiences the pain of loneliness.

Decisions Coyote Kills a Giant, a short Navajo tale, selected and edited by Richard Erdoes and Alfonso Ortiz and Christmas Every Day by William Dean Howls both demonstrate very different storylines however there are a few similar points between the two. Coyote Kills a Giant talks about the importance of being wise with your decisions and not allowing your pride. On the other hand, Christmas Every Day by William Dean Howls demonstrates the greediness in one’s self through the little girl wanting Christmas everyday because of all the advantageous and joyous acts that occur throughout the holiday. These two short stories show the negativity brought out through an egotistical choice, which could be prevented thinking more about others.
World War 1 is one of the most historical wars that ever occurred not only in the United States but the whole world. Even though the U.S. has been involved in many wars throughout the world. This war stands out to a lot of people, including myself. I will talk about what caused the U.S. to enter war, how this war is considered a “great war,” and how World War 1 impacted the U.S.
“Pluto – this was the cat’s name – was my favorite pet and playmate” (Poe 520). This man is more violent and he hangs and burns that cat he adored. The narrator is not so lucky though, because another black cat follows and haunts him on his way home. This cat also drives him crazy and he tries to kill the cat but ends up killing his wife instead. The narrator buries his wife in the wall and when the police come looking for her body, the cat helps them find her corpse.
