The book fahrenheit 451 and night are very similar. Historically and characters are similar, for example montag and elie both are main characters who once had a peaceful life till, the main conflict faced them. Also the History of how nazi burned books that, went against their regime, similar to how they do in fahrenheit 451. Finally how the characters both revolted and escaped the grasp of the protagonist .
In Fahrenheit 451, the comparison and contrast with Guy Montag and Captain Beatty is that both of them had a passion for reading at one point as well as them both working for the Fire Department. However, Beatty then feels like all books have turned on him. As stated in the beginning of the novel, Montag and Beatty are both firemen with Beatty being the captain (Bradbury 10). From this, both of these men have many things to relate to. In addition, they have to know the standards/requirements for being a fireman and are both aware that a fireman can only keep a book in their possession for no more than 24 hours.

Chapter nine commences by telling its readers about how Lee Harding was diagnosed with E coli 0157:H7. After eating some tacos at a Mexican restaurant, he started to have excruciating stomach pains and diarrhea. Harding’s stomach was hurting because of some frozen hamburgers he ate a couple of days ago. Those same hamburgers provided by Hudson Foods were infected with E. coli 0157:H7. Millions of those same frozen hamburgers had already been sold and most likely eaten.
One dissimilarity between the Von Trapp family and the Applewhites, is that the Von Trapp family loved music, whereas the Applewhite clan were very artistic. Each Applewhite did such different work: Randolph Applewhite -theater director, Zedidiah Applewhite- handcrafts wood furniture, Archie Applewhites- constructs wood furniture, Lucille Applewhites - a poet, Debbie Applewhite (Sybil Jameson)- wrote bestselling mysteries. The Von Trapp family loved music, but each had different personalities that they had to accept in order to be harmonious when singing. Acceptance, is the theme of the story in my studious eyes. The Applewhites had multiple family members who were very artistic in their own way, but in order for the play to be triumphant, the Applewhites had to learn to accept
Both Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and Put it Away by Marianne Waud (2014) demonstrate the theme of technology and modernization. In Fahrenheit 451, Montag and the other firemen are brought to burn his house and he sees Mildred, who pressed the alarm, as she “shoved the valise in the waiting beetle, climbed in, and sat mumbling, ‘Poor family, poor family, oh everything gone, everything gone now’” (Bradbury 108). The theme of technology and modernization is shown through Mildred, who gets Montag in trouble. Instead of worrying about him, she worries about her tv parlour family, verifying that she values it over him.
Throughout most written plays, they normally have films or stage performances. Usually the two are very different from each other. Many of the times the scenes are not exactly the same in films. In Our Town the stage performance is very similar to the written play. There are more comparisons than differences between the performance and written play.
The poem “Making Sarah Cry” and the play “The Watsons go to Birmingham” have the similar theme of being different. In “Making Sarah Cry” Sarah is different from the other kids on the playground. In “The Watsons go to Birmingham” the Watson family has a different skin color so they are separated from whites to do everyday tasks. The texts, both share a similar theme, but have different qualities. For example, in “Making Sarah Cry” only two people are excluded from playing with kids because of their differences.
A Line Between Love and Hate In Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun, the character Walter Lee Younger, displays the demeanor of a character in Zora Neale Hurston’s novel Their Eyes Were Watching God. In Hurston’s book, Janie’s grandmother, Nanny, was a woman with a very stubborn mindset on life, very similar to Walter Lee who presumably had life all figured out. They were portrayed as the antagonist in the novels but were just characters that meant well and had good intentions. Walter Lee Younger and Nanny are portrayed as selfish and emotionless characters by few critics but digging deeper into their situations and their decision making, they just wanted better for their loved ones and they both wanted one thing, a better life, whether it benefited themselves or the special people in their lives.
Burned books and blinding eyes are only some of the consequences in Fahrenheit 451 and Allegory of the Cave. When Montag meets his neighbor, Clarisse, he starts to question his life and he eventually breaks the law, stealing books to try to understand why society is restricted from obtaining more knowledge only to be chased by the Hound. Like Montag, Socrates becomes curious about the world and he eventually escapes the cave only to be blinded by the light. He tries to help the others in the cave see the world outside of the cave, but ends up getting killed. The main characters of the written version and radio play of “Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed” are similar and different in many ways. In the article “Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed”, the author, Ray Bradbury, depicts his main characters by descriptions and written dialogue. In the radio play of “Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed”, the producer, Michael McDonough, depicted his main characters through dialogue and sound effects. Both of these people displayed their characters to have similar personalities and used the same main characters.

Ray Bradbury and William Golding have very similar themes in their books. All the way from human interaction and social conditioning. Lord of the Flies consists of a story due to the lack of social conditioning and Fahrenheit 451 portrays what it's like after too much too powerful social conditioning. Connecting the overlapping ideas of social conditioning, knowledge, identity, and truth in these two novels leads to a better understanding of human behavior.

Dr.Martin made known that segregation should be stopped because Martin sought for freedom . The blacks were being treated wrongly and did not have their own freedom of rights .
