In Romeo & Juliet they made a plan to escape and in the Lord of the flies they had the same objective to escape. In both novels they fail to realize that the actions they made comes with a price for example in Romeo & Juliet they made a plan to escape Verona but they did think of consequences and problems that could occur in other words their actions were not thought out fully. Lord of the flies and Romeo & Juliet story relate to each other in many ways. In Both novels they make mistakes but in Lord of the flies the biggest mistake is when the hunters leave the fire to hunt the pig. When this happens Ralph sees a ship in the distance and rushes to the fire noticing that it was out so he goes to yell at jack saying “there was a ship.Out there. You said you’d keep the fire going and you let it out”. In Romeo & Juliet the mistake similar to Lord of the flies happened is when Romeo goes to find Juliet because he thinks that Juliet is dead making Romeo take his life because the letter talking about the plan didn’t get sent leading to Juliet’s death.The two example I showed relate to each other because if the hunters did what was told they could of been rescued and if the messenger didn't visit the sick before delivering the letter Romeo and Juliet could be alive. …show more content…
In Lord of the flies it start’s when the boys just land on the island and no one helps Simon and Ralph build shelters this shows that the other boys don’t really understand the situation as much as Simon and Ralph do the outcome from this is that the boys kind of get off to a rocky start. In Romeo & Juliet the message didn’t get to be received by Romeo because the messenger made a visit to the sic before he went and deliver the message and he couldn't get in because he was considered one of the sick ones the outcome from this situation is that Romeo and Juliet
