Jack and the Giant Killer Geoffrey of Monmouth was born in Wales on c. 1100 and died on c. 1155, was a Welsh cleric and one of the major figures in the development of British historiography and the popularity of tales of King Arthur. He wrote an important book named Jack the Giant Killer which is a fairy tale and legend that was published in two parts by J. White of Newcastle in 1711. That book shows that even, if you problems are big you should never give it up. The main characters of this story are: Jack a young little boy who lives with his father in a farm, they are really poor but jack is really brave and adventurous, he doesn’t feel afraid to any circumstance because he is so curious and love to discover new things in order to help his father economically. Then, King Arthur he lives with his beautiful daughter, he is the king of the town, he is ambitious but his always try to help his population. Finally we have the giant, who is a beast without aby feelings on his life, he is extremely dangerous and has a lot of anger.
