Advertisements are ways to hook the audience to buy their product. There are two ads in particular that demonstrate their product in a peculiar way. Both of these advertisements were off an online site. The Terra.com/travel focuses on the younger/working Stressed out men, while the ndtourism.com focuses on the idea of relaxed, retired man. The product of the two ads is selling the vacation. One of the more common ways advertisers try appeal to audiences is gender related. The ndtoursim.com ad shows an elderly couple. The husband and the wife are the main center of the advertisement. Although the husband has a more focus feel as if the camera directly focusing him rather than the wife. The husband seems to be superior rather than the being inferior. The husband is holding hands with his wife, showing signs of affection with her. The husband clothing signifies he is a relaxed, retired business man. He is not wearing anything fancy or spontaneous. He wears a casual red shirt and a casual beige shorts with sandals. There are no signs of struggle or conflict. There is an implied action that the models in the advertisement are walking down a narrow path. The models are gazing at a Native American who seems to be their tour guide. The husband’s emotional state is clam, happy, and intrigues. Secondly, the environment convey the tone and vibe if the advertisement. The elderly couple is in a soft, warm, and calming environment. Again, there show no signs of discomfort. There is bright green grass and sky filled with clouds emphasizing the soft and calmness surroundings. It is giving off a very naturish tone.
