Jackie robinson showed people to go for what you love even if others do not think you can do it and he shows that even if it gets hard to not give up. He went from the first African-American to play baseball to the first baseball player to break the color barrier, i know this because the text states, “The first baseball player to break the color barrier in 60 years, he paved the way for many future African-American and minority athletes.” ( Jessica McBirney , 2017 ) . This shows that because he did not give up he made it this far. Harriet Tubman helped many people by escaping the camp but going back for the other slaves.
King Kamehameha and Martin Luther King jr. “MLK” were two people that helped make the U.S united and be what it is today. Kamehameha had two foreign advisors named John Young and Issac Davis and they met because of the Olowalu Massacre. He fought many battles like the battle of Kepaniwai where he used foreign battle strategies like using muskets and cannons to make it easier to kill enemies. On the other hand MLK was an ordinary person who became the leader of an uprising to stop segregation.

Civil rights activists will always be the heroes of the black people in America. MLK Jr. and Malcolm X will be at the top of this list engraved in the hearts of black Americans. Neither of these men out worked each other and that wasn't their intention either. The main goal of these great men was to achieve political and social greatness for their fellow black people. MLK and Malcolm X appeal to their audience's emotions and religious beliefs in their documents “A letter from a Birmingham jail” and “The Ballot or the Bullet.”

Throughout the history of the United States, there have been countless public figures that had an enormous effect on today’s society. However, there are only three I felt are important to me. They are, Martin Luther King Jr, a significant civil rights activist. Franklin D. Roosevelt, creator of the New Deal policy and President of the United States during the first half of World War two. Cesar Chavez, a civil rights activist and an American labor leader.

While good and evil thoughts and actions occur in everyone’s lives, some people may experience more of the good, or more of the evil. The luxurious fantasy to sit on the couch and sleep with a soda and a slice of pizza whenever one would like is a great ability, but not everyone has a life as comfortable as that. Some people are forced into a troubled life that takes over their humanity and childhood. Different actions and words can change someone's life for the good, and for the evil. Struggling through the hard times is something that all people have to experience, but some are able to push through and find the good.
Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. were both born 120 years apart. They were also killed ten days apart in the same month, years apart of course. Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. were one of the biggest influences on Slavery and Civil Rights. As well as being great leaders during their times. Both of these men were similar, but also had their differences.
Martin Luther King and Adolph Hitler were alluring speakers but with different desires. Both had the extreme ability to attract to the masses through the spoken word, this being obvious in some of their famous speeches. Putting aside Hitler 's ghastly desires and outcomes and just examining the interesting and well- liked delivery of his speeches I feel that today he would have been worthy of the trainers trainer certification. The persuasion that he learned and developed in handling crowds, even large crowds of thousands, involved pacing the objections he knew that they would have against his argument and using them in the service of persuasion. He did that by pacing and leading.
The names of Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr. are known worldwide. They have lead many fighting what they believe in. One man many people think of when being a leader to fight for his beliefs of the people is Jesus Christ. Jesus is loved by many and hated by the powerful, just like these three other men, but their is one comparison that has been made to a certain protagonist of ancient times. In the epic poem ,Beowulf, the protagonist, Beowulf, is a leader who fights for the betterment of society while being the one that many look up to.
Frederick Douglas and Booker T. Washington worked both hard to help their race, but had a variety of similar and differing experiences. They both were born slaves, well known speakers, and writers. These great men and a large and positive impact on
