The story of Romeo and Juliet is a story about two starcross’d lovers that are unable to seek their love for eachother. During the play they are lead into circumstances where they need to talk to someone about what is happening. Both Romeo and Juliet both made very wise decisions, in their advisors during the play. Romeo choosing Friar and Juliet choosing her nurse, changed the outcome and events that took place throughout this play.
In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the title characters make impulsive decisions from the moment they are introduced to the audience. For example, during the first moments of meeting in Act I, both Romeo and Juliet profess their love for each other and Juliet even claims, in seeking out Romeo’s identity, that “If he is married, My grave is like to be my wedding bed” (Shakespeare 396). Juliet, in these lines, is stating that if she cannot have Romeo, she would rather die than be with anyone else. This behavior is rather surprising, as Juliet has just met Romeo and knows nothing about him.
At only age thirteen, couples can not know what true love feels like, especially when they have only known eachother for a couple days. Throughout the play Romeo and Juliet, the so called “star-crossed lovers’” act foolish, rushing into a marriage and not thinking about the possible consequences that might happen to such a controversial relationship because of their feuding families. Ultimately, the rash decisions lead to the deaths of not only Romeo and Juliet, but along with Paris and Mercutio. Romeo and Juliet's’ rashness to get married and kill themselves along with Friar Lawrence’s hastiness to marry the lovers despite his beliefs, make a dangerous potion, and fail to deliver the letter to Romeo, all play a major role in the tragedy.

Everyone knows humans don’t always make the best choices. They are known for making quick and foolish decisions that commonly end up with dangerous consequences. This is shown throughout the play Romeo & Juliet by Shakespeare. The play shows how when a person makes quick decisions without thinking first, it doesn’t end up well. Both Romeo and Juliet display how foolish and rash decisions never turn out correctly.
We all make bad decisions everyday. For example, watching TV when you have a bunch of homework to do, or playing video games all day instead of going outside to play. Now even though these are bad decisions, they don’t really seem to affect us long term. In the play, Romeo and Juliet, so many bad decisions are made that it leads to the death of two young teenagers that are in love, even though their families are bitter enemies. Throughout the play, their decisions keep getting worse and worse.
Sometimes, impatience can lead to tragic events. In the play, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, two star-crossed lovers attempt to be together but a family feud between the Montague and Capulet houses eventually causing the two, Romeo and Juliet, to end up in despair. Romeo’s impatience is the tragic flaw that leads to his and Juliet’s death, and is relevant throughout the play because of his actions. If Romeo had not been so impatient, then the play could have turned out differently and for the best instead of the demise that he and Juliet meet. “We met, we wooed, and made exchange of vow/...thou consent to marry us today”(Shakespeare 2.3.62).

Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare is a great example of how hasty decisions can affect the characters and the story plot. Three decisions that impacted the plot of the story are made by Romeo and Juliet, who decide to get married in secret; Friar Laurence, who makes a potion that sends Juliet into a deep sleep; and Romeo, who kills himself because of a broken heart. Author Stieg Larsson once wrote, “Impulsive actions led to trouble, and trouble could have unpleasant consequences.” In the play Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, each characters have a flaw that are used against their circumstances. Very rarely does a character in this story thought about the consequences of their actions before they did something, resulting in devastating outcomes. Granted, the main characters of the story have a noticeable weakness that contributes to their tragic ends. Romeo and Juliet both have a fatal flaw of being too impulsive when it comes to love and decisions.
Society has not changed from making a rash decision. Everybody makes rash decisions every day without thinking of all the consequences. The consequences for a leader to make a rash decision may lead to war and death. For the everyday person to make rash decisions may lead to losing friends or your job. For kids, it may lead them to get suspended or expelled.
In the world that we live in today, there are many things that we face daily. Whether it be illness, love or just bad decisions, everybody encounters them and many more. Rash decisions are made on a very common basis among people. A lot of stuff affect the decisions you make. May it be, being too young and not having enough experience to make good decisions, or just the lack of care of the outcome.
In the play Romeo and Juliet one of the main characters, Romeo, is a rather impulsive fellow who acts on what he sees and feels. He falls in love in the blink of an eye and just as fast he can get over it. He is always impulsive but when he finds himself in love his impulsiveness doubles. Romeo’s impulsive decisions causes his love, Juliet, to ultimately get killed.
Romeo and Juliet is a story of hasty decisions. The young couple must quickly decide to get married, how to act after Romeo is exiled, and whether or not to take their own lives. Many of these decisions are made under the guidance of the children’s mentors, Friar Laurence and the Nurse. Throughout this tragedy, Friar Laurence and the Nurse are the only adults that Romeo and Juliet seem to feel that they can trust and are in turn some of the main people that influence the outcome of the play. The Nurse and Friar Laurence play very similar roles, both in the play and the lives of the children, but the ways in which they advise and influence the children include more differences.
Age plays a significant role on decision-making not only in Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet but also in modern times. In the play, Romeo and Juliet are only young teenagers which influences on making childish and no-thought decisions. This is shown In Act 2 where Romeo is depressed because Rosaline, who he had confessed his love to has rejected him, and refuses to crash the Capulet’s party. It’s not until his friends Mercutio and Benvolio force him to go when he lays his eyes upon Juliet and proceeds to forget about his love and fall in love with Juliet instead.
Choices and Consequences in Romeo & Juliet (ROUGH DRAFT) Many choices in Romeo & Juliet lead to Romeo and Juliet’s deaths, but the most responsible are the decisions of Romeo and Juliet. Even though the choices of people like Friar Laurence, Tybalt, and Lord Capulet lead to the deaths of Romeo & Juliet, the choices Romeo and Juliet make throughout the play ultimately leads to their death because of Romeo and Juliet’s decision to be married and Romeo’s decision to go to the party. Romeo’s choice to go the Capulet party is the most influential and contributing to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Due to Romeo’s depression Mercutio & Benvolio convince him to go to the Capulet party.
