Yet, according to the film TB: Silent Killer, TB was treated with as much stigma as HIV/AIDs. This stigma causes people to delay getting diagnosis and treatment. Often people would keep the diagnosis to themselves, remaining at home.

In the novel, “The Outsiders” the author, S.E. Hinton shows readers the struggles and emotions that Ponyboy Curtis experiences throughout the book. He feels like an outsider. Someone who doesn’t belong in this world and doesn't have a spot. The author used a key signpost that helps readers understand the book in a better level. One of those examples she used was memory moment.
“Shifty- Shifre. She could remember that.” Pg. 47. But, even though they’re small details in the book, they do create a huge theme. Since remembering is a huge contribution, there are many other parts of the story where remembering is a factor.
In Counting by 7’s by Holly Sloan there was an example of memory moment on page 17. Here is what happens that shows this signpost. Willow remembered how she has always been different. This may be important because it shows that she has always thought a different way, ever since she answered questions differently than everyone else in kindergarten.
Memories can express many emotional times and events in your life, but it’s terrifying when you can’t remember anything at all. In the novel Breaking Beautiful by Jennifer Shaw Wolf, the main character, Allie, goes through her life after a tragic accident where her boyfriend, Trip, drove off a cliff in his truck. Allie was found near the cliff but she has no memory of the accident. Allie is forced to return to her life before the accident with the exception of having Trip. Allie experienced some traumatic events that influenced changes in herself as well as some people, some being Trip’s death/the accident, having to go back to school, and having Blake there for her every step of the way. .

In the film Sleep Dealer, Technological connects have a negative effect on human connections. In the world that the film takes place in, everything relies on node connections with most developed country being connected through Sleep Dealers. The problem with this however, is when nodes and technology become so heavily relied upon, it alters the way people interact and actually disconnects people. Although the characters are literally connected, they are disconnected from reality and others. This is shown through the interactions between Memo and Luz, the actions and thoughts of Memo, and the environment the characters live in.
Throughout the movie “End of Watch” follows along with Officer Brian Taylor (Gyllenhaal) and Officer Mike Zavala (Pena) on their daily patrols in the inner city of Los Angeles. During the course of the movie, there are many things that Officer Taylor and Officer Zavala do that is very common and even accepted among police officers. But, one reoccurring theme is that they use foul language while on duty, act unprofessional, and use excessive force. In addition, Officer Taylor is actively recording his daily activities while on duty with a handheld video camera and lapel body cameras for both himself and Officer Zavala. Even though Officer Taylor was repeatedly told to cease his filming by fellow officers and supervisors he continued his behavior.
Memory is our gateway to the past. It changes and alters overtime and may become at some point inaccurate. What people see in the present also changes our opinions on previous events. It plays a great role in storytelling for better or worse. In Janie Mae Crawford’s story of her entire life is affected by her memory in many significant ways.
My exigence for this paper is why Survivor is the best TV show ever. I chose my exigence why Survivor is the best TV show because I think Survivor is the best TV show ever. If I think Survivor is the best TV show ever I just feel like it is something that I can grasp and I can explain in the video easily. My audience is the younger generation meaning eighteen year olds to thirty-five year olds and families. I chose this specific audience because my family watches Survivor and so I can relate the audience to my life.
In a satirical music video titled “Welcome to Hell,” the female members of the Saturday Night Live cast welcomed men to the world of sexism. Saturday Night Live is produced in New York City, with the actors doubling as writers for each script, including this video. The video was inspired by the recent sexual harassment allegations in Hollywood, starting with Harvey Weinstein. The video brought to light that although the accusations are new, sexual harassment is not. Throughout the video, the women portray multiple historical instances of sexism, such as the Salem Witch Trials and Rosie the Riveter.
Is the Problem the Guns? Recently it has been almost impossible to get on social media or watch TV without the discussion on whether the gun laws need to be changed or remain the same. People are saying that these "mass killings" would not happen if gun laws were stricter. The video, "This Needs to Be Banned" by Good Beats Evil, brings up the discussion of how AR-15 and other assault rifles have killed such less lives than Planned Parenthood has.
