Detroit: Is Now Known as the Better City Detroit is now known as the better city. Change is the act or instance of making or becoming different. Detroit: An American Autopsy,LeDuff talks about how many things in Detroit changed, some changed for better, but others changed for the worst. In many years, Detroit went through Difficult times, but is still trying to fix all the problems and the corruption. As LeDuff mentions in chapter one and chapter two, people were killed in the streets of Detroit. LeDuff talks about how Detroit lost the soldier and the priest who were killed in an Indian uprising in 1706 (LeDuff 186). Dr.Schmidt talks about the people that should be burying their loved one and care more about the dead people in Detroit’s streets, because more than 250 people sat and unclaimed the dead people in Detroit, also mention the economy were the problem of increase the amount of dead people (LeDuff 179). LeDuff said that the doctor in detroit gave him a paper detailing the amount of people murdered through all the years and the amount of
