This summer, the Bucks County community experienced a series of events that felt like a real life horror movie. The disappearance of four young men took the media by storm, and it soon became a national headline. It is still unknown why Cosmo Dinardo and his accomplice Sean Kratz ended the lives of four men over marijuana deals, but there are some theories that can help explain why Dinardo devised his evil plan.
The deadly series of events began on July 5, 2017. Jimi Patrick, 19, agreed to buy marijuana from 20-year-old Cosmo Dinardo. Dinardo met with Patrick and the two went to the 90 acre property in Solebury Township owned by Dinardo’s parents. When Patrick mentioned to Dinardo that he didn’t have enough money to pay for the marijuana, Dinardo offered to sell him a shotgun instead. When Patrick agreed, Dinardo shot him dead. He used a backhoe to dig a six foot grave, and he threw Patrick’s body in the hole. When Patrick failed to show up for work the next day, his grandparents knew that something was wrong. They reported him missing on July 6, 2017.

He knew how to kill the boys without them having any suspicion, and he did not just kill the boys and run away. Dinardo buried them twelve feet below the ground.
